What A Weekend!

It was a big weekend for the Little Roof Family. On Saturday, we headed to NC to have a "Pre" Thanksgiving dinner with Leanne's family. Although Cameron enjoyed his first taste of dressing, potato salad, and broccoli casserole, as you can see in the picture, he especially enjoyed hanging out with his Aunt Amy and his Uncle David!

After dinner we headed to Lincolnton to visit my Maw Maw Taylor. For those of you who don't know, Maw Maw Taylor, she is and has always been a very important person in Leanne's life. She helped raise Leanne and is responsible for a lot of Leanne's cooking skills! This was the first time Maw Maw and Cameron got to meet and I was so excited! Maw Maw cried because that's what Maw Maw does, but it was a very special visit and I can't wait to go see her again!

Finally, on Sunday, Cameron went to support his cousins Adam & Aliyah at their Cheerleading Competition! He had such a great time. He loved all the excitement and music, and most of all, spending time with his cousins!

The News Is Out...

Well i'm pretty sure everyone has heard the exciting news that Jamie and I are going to have another baby! Little Baby Roof #2 is due June 20th, which will make baby and Cameron a whopping 17 months apart...woo hoo! We are very happy! We wanted our children to be close together and we have been very blessed. I have been very, very tired but not sick, and I will take tired over sick any day! Cameron is certainly keeping me on the go and making sure that I get my pregnant exercise. He is cruising everywhere, which in babyland means he pulls up to things, and walks while holding on. He still only has two teeth and we are patiently waiting for more. He has started to babble all the time! His favorite words are DaDa, Bye Bye, and Book. I get an occasional Mama...but not very often. When I try to get him to say Mama, he says mmmmbaba. And speaking of Book, that is his latest obsession. He will sit on your lap and not move for as long as you will read to him, or until you lose your voice reading "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear". It really amazes me how attentive he can be. Well I hope this catches everyone up a little bit on my little family. Here are a few random pics of my silly little monkey. More to come...

Happy Halloween!

For Cameron's first Halloween, he decided to dress as a skeleton! We kept it simple this year and just wanted to have fun. We didn't go Trick-or-Treating, but the Nana's came Trick-or-Treating at our house! Nana Roof sent Cameron a card with money in it, and Nana Pat brought a goody bag filled with treats! What a great Halloween!
