Latest from The Roofs

Well, my little baby doesn't look much like a baby anymore. I just can't believe how fast he is growing. He is now 15 months old and really becoming aware of the world around him. He is now running, but usually only to follow his Daddy! He repeats everything he hears so Mommy and Daddy have become very cautious of what we say. He is still a little obsessed with Elmo and Mickey Mouse, and those Little Einstein videos have finally started to pay off. He now does "eat" and "more" in sign language. He attempts to do "all done" but hasn't mastered that one yet. And I'm pretty sure he thinks the itsy bitsy spider is sign language too! He loves to go in his baby brother, Maddox' room, but I'm not sure he realizes there will be a little baby living in there soon. We'll see how that one goes.
Speaking of baby Maddox, as of now, the stubborn little booger is still breech. His head is very much in my rib cage and his feet are jogging on my bladder! We are hoping that he will turn before it's too late, so we can avoid C-section. My Dr appt's are every 2 weeks now and I'm definitely feeling 8 months pregnant! Can't believe he will be here in less than 8 weeks!
Well here are a few pics of my sweet little family! I finally got a new camera, so I am going a little picture crazy...in other words...there are many more pics coming soon!!

Davis & Fisher's 1st Birthday

On Saturday, Cameron got to visit two of his best buddies, Davis & Fisher, for their 1st Birthday Party! We had such a great time! Because Cameron isn't around too many little one's his age, I'm always anxious to see how he does with other kids. He had a blast!! He was only shy for about a minute before he jumped right in and enjoyed the party! He ate lots of pizza, and a little bit of cake. As the party came to an end, Dad & Cam headed outside to play with bubbles, which is one of Cameron's fave things to do right now. You can see in the pics how much fun he had. Thanks to Evan, Natalie, Davis & Fisher for such a great party

FAMILY VACATION ORLANDO, FL MARCH 2009

All I can say about our little family vacation in Orlando is WOW! We had the most amazing time! We arrived in Orlando on Thursday night (03/19) and immediately took Cameron to the pool. It was such a long ride and he was a trooper the whole trip...didn't whine once! We took a nice dip in the pool, then turned in early for our next fun-filled day.
Friday was "Mommy & Daddy's Day". Cameron and Nana Pat hung out at the resort this day playing in the pool, walking the gift shops, and even having a picnic by the water. Mom & Dad got up very early for our day at Discovery Cove. Discovery Cove is a beautiful park in Orlando where you can swim with (and ride) dolphins, sting rays, & beautiful tropical fish. There is a HUGE lazy river to relax in, a beach to hang out on, even an aviary where you have the opportunity to hand feed exotic birds! Jamie and I have been to a lot of cool places, but Discovery Cove has definitely been one of our favorite experiences to date!
When Saturday arrived, it was time to head to SeaWorld! Mom, Dad, Cam & Nana Pat all enjoyed our SeaWorld experience. We saw so many cool things... a massive Clydesdale, hilarious sea lions, sharks, penguins, polar bears, whales, and my favorite, the beautiful dolphins! The Shamu show was awesome and the Seal & Sea Otter show was so cute! But I think everyone's favorite show was the dolphin show! I think Cameron's favorite part of the day was watching the whales and dolphins swim in their tanks. He loved it! However, the biggest kid of the day was Nana Pat. She has always had a fascination with dolphins, and especially, Shamu. It was a great experience for her and we were so glad she could be there with us! We didn't get to see quite everything on Saturday, so we went back to SeaWorld a second time on Monday before heading home! It was a great way to end our vacation!
I posted three slideshows below. The first slideshow shows all the fun we had at The Marriott World Center, which I must say, is a fabulous resort!!! We will definitely stay there again! The second slideshow is Mommy and Daddy at Discovery Cove, and the third is SeaWorld. Hope you all enjoy!
