The fun begins at Roller Sports...

So as all of you probably know, my wonderful Mother-In-Law has owned Roller Sports Skating Rink in Taylors, for about 27 years now. Jamie spent most of his childhood there and I think he had skates on the minute he learned to walk! Looks like Cameron may be headed down the same path. We usually stop by the rink frequently to visit Nana (and to snatch a soda from the snack bar). Cameron loves the bright lights, all the attention, and of course, visiting his Nana. I just can't wait to get him in his first pair of skates...but I guess we should get him walking first. As you can see, after a visit to the rink, Mommy & Daddy surprised Cameron with a new toy...of course...he was more excited about the box than he was about the toy inside!

Fall For Greenville

On October 12th, my little family headed downtown for the annual Fall For Greenville Festival. Jamie and I enjoy this fun festival of food and music every year, but this was Cameron's first year. Cameron met his best friends Kylee, Talon, Davis, and Fisher down there as well as his Uncle Jono and Aunt Missy! We all had so much fun! It's such a treat to have great friends who have little babies too! Jamie and I love playing with all the kids! And we always have a great time with Jono and Missy. Jono took over stroller duty and pushed Cameron around all day, except for the times when Missy snagged him and stole all his sugar! Can't wait to do it again next year!

A night in the life of Leanne Roof...

It's Monday night, I'm exhausted from a fun day with Cameron. It's 9:30, so Cameron has been in the bed for about an hour and a half. I grab a finger nail file, the TV remote and try to enjoy some quiet me time. Then suddenly, I hear a wimper from the baby monitor. It quickly grows into an all out cry. I head upstairs hoping a blankie and a paci will get him right back to sleep, he probably just had a dream. After a few minutes I decide he's not going right back to sleep, so I take him downstairs. I strap him in to the handy ole bouncy seat to see if he will go back to sleep before I grab some motrin for those sore little gums. About 5 minutes passes and I haven't heard a sound. The coffee table is blocking my view of him so I peek below the top of the table to make sure he's asleep, and this is what I see.....

GO GAMECOCKS!

This is the kind of thing that happens when my two boys are left alone together!

Not a baby anymore...

After Camerons first haircut, I decided to take a few pics of him. He certainly isn't a little baby anymore! He is starting to look like a little man! These days, I see more of his hiney crawling away, than I do of his gorgeous face!

Cameron's First Haircut

On Saturday, October 4th, Mommy and Daddy took Cameron to Jelly Beans for his first haircut. And I must say, Jelly Beans, a kids only salon, is a very cool place. There is a chalk board wall, video games, and even cars & motorcycles to sit in while getting your haircut. And the staff is fabulous! It only cost 1 penny for Cameron's first haircut and he received a certificate and a lock of hair. Cameron was a very big boy...he was so interested in playing with the comb, he didn't mind the haircut at all. No Tears! Only Smiles & Giggles! No Mommy didn't cry either...she was a big girl too.
